Birmingham Clubs for Young People joined together with V, the volunteering charity, MTV and Apple in a unique partnership to provide media training for Young People aged 16-25 and free video and Computer equipment for Youth Clubs in Birmingham. On March 7th 2009, over 80 young people from right across Birmingham attended the Stage 1 training at The Bond Company in Birmingham City Centre. there they learned how to use the latest video camera technology to create state-of-the-art videos. On 1st and 2nd April 2009, those young people then attended Park View CLC in birmingham to learn how to use an IMAC to edit the videos and create soundtracks to go with their video footage. 20 Youth Clubs in Birmingham were then issued with free Video Cameras and an IMAC computer, which their young people have been trained in how to use.
