We are trying to raise the profile of Girls football (11-19 yr old girls) throughout Birmingham Youth clubs and organisations. As part of this, there will be some free coaching sessions for Girls football available over the next 8 months, leading up to a Girls 5-a-side tournament in Spring/Summer 2008. This coaching could take place at your club/school/project. If you have somewhere the coaching could take place (sports hall, grass area, astro-turf etc) and if you have a group of girls who you think would be interested in recieving free coaching and maybe getting together a 5-a-side team to play in a tournament, please let me know, either by email or phone (contact details below). At this stage, we want just an expression of interest - there is no guarantee you will recieve the free coaching - we will select the most appropriate projects from those who apply.
