Birmingham Fed would like to offer its congratulations to Frankie Gavin, Birmingham boxer who became the World Lightweight Champion this November at the Amatuer World Boxing Championships held in Chicago.

Frankie is a member of one of our affiliated boxing clubs, Hall Green ABC, and a few years ago was taking part in the CYP Boxing Championships, one of his first steps on the road to becoming World champion. Well done Frankie and also credit to Hall Green ABC and the coach Tom Chaney, for all their hard work and effort.
