It is with much sadness that I announce the death of Norman King at the age of 73. Many of you will remember himn as the leader of the Asman Boys Club in Moseley. He started as Assistant Leader at 19 years of age in 1953 and was still to be seen playing football with it's mambers until the club's closure in 2005.

For many years he hosted Birmingham Fed's Table Tennis Championships and participated in a wide range of activities and events that featured in our annual programme.

His funeral will take place at Kings Heath & Moseley Baptist Church which is opposite the Somerfield Supermarket in Kings Heath High Street at 2pm on Friday 5th October 2007. The service will be followed by cremation at Robin Hood Cemetery and then afterwards at the church for refreshments. The family have asked for no floral tributes, just donations to children's charities.
